Providence – Lisa Waller-Gage, associate of RE/MAX Properties, participated in the celebration of the Awards and recognition given to RE/MAX at their annual Fall Convention. Lisa attended the RE/MAX New England Fall Convention, on October 5, 2011, at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence. Lisa accompanied Rick Stoudt, owner/broker of RE/MAX Properties, along with several other associates of the firm.
At the convention the J.D. Power Award for “Highest Overall Satisfaction For Home Sellers and Home Buyers Among National Full Service Real Estate Firms,” given to RE/MAX was displayed. Guest speakers included New York Times Best-Selling Author Todd Duncan. The key speaker was Christopher Gardner, who was played by Will Smith in the film, The Pursuit of Happyness.
In addition, the results of a independent research organization, showed that RE/MAX is the most recognized brand for the top of mind for the national real estate companies in the market and among consumers intending to buy or sell. RE/MAX is the most considered national brand. The survey also found that RE/MAX is most likely to be recommended by consumers.
As the real estate market has changed, RE/MAX has changed with it and that has brought new opportunities to assist homeowners. RE/MAX agents have been chosen by Nationwide Lenders and by families in financial distress to assist with the short sale process. RE/MAX continues to lead the industry in the number of agents trained in Short Sales with the most Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) designees in the real estate industry.

The Northern New England Real Estate Network reported that in the month of September, 2011, 41 Single Family Homes sold. The homes that sold in September, sold for prices ranging from $114,900 to $532,000. The average price was $287,000 and the average days on the market were reported as 83, they sold for an average of 92% original list price to sales price ratio. During the month of September 2011, the absorption rate, in relation to closed sales was 16.6 months. During the month of October, there were 247 homes listed for sale in Nashua, New Hampshire.
